Board Staff Retreat March 2003

Each year the clinic holds a planning session that gives board and staff members a chance to discuss major issues affecting the clinic. This year the session had four parts:

-an introduction to non share capital corporations, especially designed for new board members;

-a review of the Moosonee Community Justice Project presented by Yedida Zalik and Donna Ashamock;

-presentation on legal aid and clinic services

-discussion about clinic governance issues.

Board and staff were fortunate to be joined by two former Keewaytinok lawyers:  Seetal Sunga who copresented the corporations workshop and Yedida Zalik.
